Obsession of the Moment: Wallet

Soooo I've been searching for a new wallet for awhile now, and I thought I wanted another Guess wallet because I love their stuff, but I ended up buying one from Marshalls!

Check out my just purchased Deux Lux gold crackle zip up wallet. Now, this thing was only 10 or 12 bucks so I'm not sure how long it's going to last, but I LOVE it for the time being.

I wanted a zip up because my previous wallet, a Guess yellow snakeskin snap closure, was so overstuffed with junk that I couldn't even snap it shut! (totally not the wallets fault) But nevertheless I wanted something new and with a zipper so I could limit myself to how much junk I could actually put in it before it wouldn't zip. I figure if it's too stuffed to zip up then it's time to clean out!

Hopefully I can keep this beauty filled with the minimum amount of clutter. Wish me luck!

What I love about this wallet is the gold crackle finish, the circle zipper pendant, and of course the Zipper!!

Yay for Marshalls and cheap finds! xo

Holy MAMA!

Did you watch The Biggest Loser Finale? Oh. My. Gosh. Hannah and Olivia are freaking bombshells!! They rocked it and look so great! Check out these before and afters. So proud of them. Love these girls!!

Olivia Before

And her sister Hannah before
Hannah before and after...How freakin awesome does she look?!

And Olivia before and after. She looks amazing!

And heeeere are the afters from the LIVE Finale!

And aren't these dresses drop dead gorgeous?! Not sure of the designer but I will find out soon. They looked like super models. I was crying when I saw them walk out. It's just so amazing to watch them all season and see how they transform their bodies and their minds.
Not only are they physically completely different, but they've gone through a complete mental transformation as well. It's amazing to see and very inspiring. THIS is how reality tv should be. Inspiring people to change and do good.

Love this show.

There are some things I wish they would have done differently on the finale:
1. They should have made a bigger deal for Jillian as it is her last season being a trainer. They barely mentioned her!
2. They should let the trainers stand on the stage during the reveals of the contestants. They shoved them off to the corner and we didn't hear a word from them the whole show. What the heck is up with that?! I wanted to hear what they had to say about all the amazing transformations!
3. They should have interviewed Olivia after she won the whole damn show! They didn't even ask her anything they just cut the show off. Not a good ending.

ABC..take note. Next finale I better see these changes...or else! Ha.

I LOVE them and she should too!

So as I posted early this morning, my two favorite husband-hopefuls for Ms. Ashley of The Bachelorette are William (umbrella guy)  and JP. They are so sweet and very good looking too (if I don't say so myself).

Ashley chose to wear a sparkly nude dress for the opening episode and I thought she looked so good! Something about the combo of her brunette locks (go brunettes!), golden skin, red lips, and sparkly dress shouted "I'm single and ready to mingle!!"

Let me introduce you to Ashley, if you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, and also the two guys I think she should love..
Ashley, the dentist, looking pretty as ever!

Her stunning sparkly nude dress. Skinny Minnie.

My two faves are sitting right next to her on either side. JP and William. SO cute! I can spot those dimples a million miles away!

Here's William....love his dimples!!

Ahem..he's V.E.R.Y. good looking..

And the very sexy JP...

So sweet!

So those are my picks. I'm hoping I'm right. I called it on Brad and Emily last season so we'll see if my psychic abilities hold up for this one.

Anyways. Today was a crappy day at work. Ever feel like you're underworked? Because I do. Big time. I hate complaining about my job because that's pretty much all I do, but at the same time it kills me to sit behind my desk all day, doing nothing, thinking about all the things I really want to do.

Frustrating. I don't want to settle, but then again I don't want to be out of a job in this bad economy everyone's been talking about. Shitty. Half of me is shouting "You only live ONCE!" and the other part is chanting "Paycheck. Paycheck. Paycheck.."

Uggh. Please lord. Let a new job magically appear tomorrow. I need it. xo

I chooooose

JP and the umbrella guy, William as my favorite husband hopefuls for Ashley. Last night's The Bachelorette was so fun to watch. But I can't believe she kept sleezy Bentley....eww.

Can Can

OMG! Tonight is the premier of The Bachelorette!! Sooooo stoked. (Seriously people. I have a major addiction to reality tv.) While I'm counting down the minutes to the start of the show I'm looking at all the fashion from the Cannes Film Festival.

People get a little crazy with their fashion on this red carpet every year, but there's always some really knockout looks. Like this one....

This is Elodie Bouchez. Idk who she's wearing but I LOVE this dress. Stunner.

Although Cannes has some amazing fashion going on, I tip my hat to the ladies who rocked the carpet at the amFAR Gala. Holy mama. I love soooo many of these looks.

JANET JACKSON in: Haider Ackermann
{ Now this is my kind of color blocking, jewel tones. Such a sophisticated way to sport this trend }

BAR REFAELI in: Roberto Cavalli
{ Doesn't she look like some sort of exotic bird? Gorgeous girl. }

JANE FONDA in: Roberto Cavalli
{ Do the Jane Fondaaaaa....here's to hoping I look this amazing when I'm her age. Sheesh }

CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI
{ Not sure who she's wearing but I LOVE the cut of the dress in the bust. Tis my favorite }

( and here's the one without my annoying drawn on circle )

Okay. That's enough fashion to drool over for tonight. Off to do more important things like sit around and wait for the boy to get home so we can freaking watch The Bachelorette!!

Good Gosh

I have just been Sa-lacking on the blog posts lately. Could be because I've been doing p90x and have been so exhausted after that I don't want to move. Or it could be because I am on a never ending quest to find a new job-y-poo. Or it could be because sometimes I get intimidated to blog.

Intimidated? Yes. Very much so. I look around all day at all the other blogs I LOVE to read and after reading them I think..."Wow. My life seems so mundane and blah compared to these girls." It makes me think twice about doing this.

But then I smack myself mentally and tell myself that this is not about being the best blogger on the earth. This is about having a nice quiet space to ramble on about whatever I please. So here I sit. Rambling.

So I mentioned a while back that I took a weekend trip to Vegas for the first time in my life. We had a blast and I hardly took any pictures at all because of that fact, but here are a few from the set that I took. xo

{ Upon our arrival we headed straight to the buffet at The Luxor (I LOVE buffets) and I grabbed a fortune cookie with my chinese and this is what it said! I was totally thinking I was going to win a million dollars on the trip...}
(Do you think they make these types of fortunes especially for casinos? It's very casino-y don't you think?)

{ Dessert from the buffet. Chocolate mousse and a fruit tart! }

{ Obviously not prepared for the photo. Awkward smile.. }
Top: Walmart, Shorts: American Eagle, Bag: Guess, Watch: Fossil, Belt: Target

{ Didn't realize till I got to the hotel and hung up my outfits that I only brought black, white, and gray clothes. Show me the color! }

{ The coolest jelly belly Statue of Liberty inside of New York New York }

{ close-up }

{ Super awkward pic of me trying to pose next to this statue at The Luxor...}
Top & skirt: Coco Boutique, Shoes: Soda, Watch: Fossil, Clutch: Coach

And that's that! I wanted to tell you too that today I totally hit a bird on the way home. :( I felt so bad! Poor birdy. Everyone say a prayer please! xox

Holy Hiatus!

Ummmm. So I've been gone for a couple of weeks. I've been super busy with my regular job that occupies 50-60  hours of my week, making my custom wall crosses for a boutique I sell them in, and then we took a three day trip to Vegas last weekend.

Talk about overload. It doesn't seem like a lot, but trust me. I've been so tired I haven't even turned on my computer in a week. I just come home from work and lay down. I hate being that tired when you don't even feel like doing things you love to do. Like BLOG!

Ughh anyways.

My favorite ombre hair wear-er, Lily Aldridge, is Married! She wed Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill. They said her dress was a custom made Vera Wang. Can't wait for photos! I'm sure she looked stunning!

Caleb Followill Marries Model Lily Aldridge

In other news. I am the worst picture-putter-upper ever. So I have all these cool shots of things I've been doing but I have yet to upload to my computer so I can put them on here.

Time to get a move on.

Casa Aniston

Stumbled across this today as I was reading the news at work. Apparently Jennifer Aniston is selling her amazing abode in LA so she can uproot to New York. Check out her bachelor pad below. It's almost manly in its decor and reminds me of that round house the villain lived in from the first Charlies Angels. You know the villain guy that Drew Barrymore's character falls for? Anyways Aniston's casa is STUNNING in both architecture and interior design. Not to mention that view! Jealous!
How sick is this view?! I'm not good at pool, but I'll play it all night in this house.
This is probably one of my favorite features. The see through wine cellar. Amazing. And not to mention, something I would have never thought to do.

Kitchen could be a little bigger. HA...yah right!

Apparently Jen bought this house and completely renovated it. I'm in love with every room of this house.
I'm ready to move in! This 10,000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 8.5 bathroom, on an acre of land home can be yours for a cool $42 million. Steep! I'll just have to add this one to my "I wish" database.

The Royal Wedding (That I'm Extremely Jealous Of)

So you think everything is going just right in your life and you think you're on a rising path compared to most of your peers. And then a prince and princess decide to tie the knot and have the biggest wedding the world has seen in a decade. And you realize how small you are in this world.

I DVR'd the Royal Wedding. All. 6. Hours. Of. It. I watched it on Friday afternoon when I got home from work. First of all, I cried about 4 times normally, and then whimpered the rest of the wedding saying things like "How romaaaantic" and "I want a Royal wedding."
I thought it was beautiful.

And might I add, it went off without a hitch. No one tripped, no one stuttered, no one dropped their tiara. It was perfection in pure form.

A lot of girls I talked to about the wedding said they expected "more" from Kate's wedding dress. I on the other hand thought it was amazing and just right, not to mention something I had in mind for my wedding day. Grace Kelly and her wedding dress are something I covet, so when I saw Kate step out of the car I thought she hit the nail right on the head.

I loved every minute of the wedding. And did you know that Kate did her own makeup for the wedding? She was trained by a makeup artist so she could do her own thing on the big day and I think she just looked beautiful. You look up bride in the dictionary and her picture should be pasted there. For real.

Here are some of my favorite captures from the day.

What a crazy dream come true it must have been for her parents. They looked so cute!

Did you know they drove off in this after Buckingham? How cute are their "C" and "W" balloons?

AND DID YOU SEE THE CAKE?! 8 TIER & 900 FLOWERS!

YUM!

I love the traditions that they keep in Britain. I am so jealous of the love they have of their culture and history. I am in awe of the entire Royal Wedding proceedings. I am wishing America was more like Britain in regards to being more aware and open to the traditions of the past. I also wish we kept more of the historic places around instead of tearing them down to build cement boxes.

I just love London too, and can't wait to go visit there again. I used to think I was going to move there when I was younger. Maybe in the future? We'll seeeeeee.
