I did a lot of research online before I went this time though. I'm a retard when it comes to gym machines and I wanted to have a game plan going into the gym so it looked like I semi-knew what I was doing.
Here's my work out from today:
Seated dumbbell shoulder press: 3 sets, 11 reps per set 10lb dumbells
Machine leg press: 3 sets, 10 reps per set 80lbs
Incline bench press with barbell: 3 sets, 10 reps per set 25lbs
One Arm Cable Row: couldn't find the one hand attachment so I did a two arm cable row: 3 sets, 10 reps per set 30lbs
Pull Down Cable Bar: 3 sets, 11 reps per set 50lbs
Barbell Reverse Lunge: HOLY sheet. This kicked my ass. 3 sets, 15 reps per set 20lb barbell
Dumbbell Sumo Deadlift: Umm I used a 20lb kettle bell because it looked cooler than the dumbbells. These literally turned my legs to mush. 3 sets, 11 reps per set.
I pretty much YouTube'd every one of these exercises before I went to the gym this morning. I wanted to make sure I knew what it was suppossed to look like before I went in there and looked like a fool. Fool. This worked my upper and lower body, but I felt I didn't attack my core enough. And my core is what I really want to work on, so tomorrow I'm going to do more core exercises and situps.
It was good BUT I could barely walk down the stairs after. I think I did too much today. Overachiever.
